Invitation to Host Saudi Interns and Post Graduates

Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission to the US

The Center for Career Development (CCD) was created to assist Saudi students in broadening their skill sets and deepening their professional experiences by connecting them with potential internships and post-graduate training opportunities with U.S. and Saudi companies. Partnering with organizations  provides students the opportunity to translate classroom learning into practical experiences that will benefit them in their careers and also introduce them to companies that can make optimum use of their new skills.

In the short period since its launch, the CCD has partnered with U.S. companies ranging from Fortune 100 firms with more than 80,000 employees to small businesses with fewer than 10 employees. The CCD has also built relationships with many Saudi organizations. This fast success is due in part to the many benefits companies gain from working with the Center. These benefits include access to the well-educated Saudi student population in the U.S., decreased hiring and overseas training costs of future employees, the opportunity to evaluate prospective employees before offering permanent employment, and the development of cultural understanding between U.S. company employees and Saudi students/graduates that can help prevent costly errors in the future.

The CCD invites companies to post internship and post-graduation training advertisements on its website, social media sites, and job board. It is also happy to include companies on its list of companies that accept internship applications from qualified Saudi students. To be listed, please provide CCD with the link(s) to which they can direct students for information about the programs. Please send your advertisement posting requests and/or internship links to ccd@sacm.org.

The CCD also encourages companies to participate in its annual job fair. Our next job fair will take place at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center (National Harbor, MD) between Saturday, May 24 and Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
