As Chairman of Sudan Sunrise, Zogby works to continue the vision of NBA player Manute Bol to bring peace to Sudan through education. Zogby has been awarded three honorary doctorates from the State University of New York, the College of St. Rose, and the Graduate School of Union University. In 2008 he was awarded the Chancellor's Distinguished Fellows Award from the University of California Irvine.
