Mohammad Darwazah is MGA's Middle East and North Africa senior analyst and focuses primarily on Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Iraq, Iran, and the GCC, with a particular emphasis on regional geopolitics, energy, and domestic macroeconomic dynamics. Before joining MGA, Mohammad developed his experience through several positions, most notably with HSBC’s CEMEA equity research team in Cairo, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates’ Trade and Commercial Office in Washington DC. Mohammad holds a B.A in Economics and Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis and a masters in International Economic Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
