Noor Sweid is the founder and General Partner of Global Ventures, a leading emerging market-focused venture capital firm. Previously, Noor was the first woman to operate, scale and IPO a company in the MENA region, listing Depa on NASDAQ Dubai and the London Stock Exchange, for US$1.1 billion, in April 2008. Named one of the “World’s Top 50 Women in Tech” by Forbes, Noor's previous roles include CIO at The Dubai Future Foundation and Founding Partner at Leap Ventures, a tech-focused, entrepreneur-led venture capital firm. Noor also founded the largest yoga studio chain in the Middle East, ZenYoga - acquired by Cedarbridge in 2014.
