ABANA members and their guests are cordially invited to a reception and private viewing of Contemporary Art Highlights from the upcoming Sotheby’s Doha Auction.

“Following the tremendous success of last year’s sale in which works OF thirteen artists, including Shirin Neshat and Ali Banisadr, saw record prices, Contemporary Art returns to Doha on 21 April 2015. The sale includes a selection of high-caliber works from leading Middle Eastern and international contemporary artists, from Anish Kapoor and Chant Avedissian to Ayman Baalbaki and Manal Al Dowayan–artists who have all achieved record breaking prices in past Doha sales. The sale will also focus on artists who are redefining contemporary art through a global dialogue, many of whom are being introduced in the region for the first time.”

On the occasion of the 25th Armory Show, ABANA members will also be welcome to visit additional exhibitions throughout Sotheby’s.
